Over his 25-year tenure with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Russ held numerous roles, including hostage negotiator, horse patrol member, and Deputy Chief of Police, culminating with a prestigious assignment to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and graduation from the FBI National Academy.
